WHAT WE DO
RESTORATION AT THE SCALE OF A LANDSCAPE.
From woodland to hedgerows and regenerative grazing nature-led work across Dorset.

Our promise
Environmental wealth, delivered with intention.
WHAT WE DO
We restore landscapes, regenerate ecosystems, and create nature-led solutions that bring lasting environmental change. Through rewilding woodland restoration, and regenerative farming, we help rebuild biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience, and reconnect people with the natural world.
Our work is rooted in long-term stewardship — transforming degraded land into thriving habitats where wildlife, communities, and nature can recover together. From restoring ecological balance across the countryside to supporting sustainable development through Biodiversity Net Gain and Nutrient Neutrality solutions, we are committed to creating measurable impact for both people and the planet.
WHAT WE DO
WE CREATE WETLANDS
In 2025, we delivered the Wriggle Rewetting project below Batcombe Down in Dorset's Blackmore Vale, reconnecting a stretch of the River Wriggle to its original floodplain for the benefit of nature, climate, and community. The project filters and slows rainwater runoff from surrounding farmland, helping to ease downstream flooding through Hilfield, Chetnole and Yetminster, and reducing pollutants entering the Wriggle and the Yeo it feeds. It will transform a degraded stretch of clay vale into a biodiverse wetland supporting abundant wildlife.
WHAT WE DO
WE RESTORE WOODLAND & HEDGEROWS
Restoring and protecting woodland and hedgerows is central to our work on climate and nature. Woodlands lock up carbon in trees and soils, while the dense hedge network of the Blackmore Vale stores carbon and links habitats across the farmed landscape. When hedges are grubbed out or woodlands degraded, that stored carbon is lost and wildlife corridors break down. Our work below Batcombe Down protects the ancient semi-natural woodland on the valley slopes, lets scrub and young trees regenerate naturally along the woodland edge, and restores the species-rich hedgerow network through traditional Dorset hedge laying and replanting — including stretches hit hard by ash dieback.
WHAT WE DO
WE REWILD LANDSCAPES
We rewild landscapes by restoring natural processes and giving nature space to recover. At our site in the Blackmore Vale below Batcombe Down, previously managed for intensive agriculture is being taken out of production and allowed to transition towards a more natural, diverse landscape. By removing livestock and agricultural inputs, allowing seasonal flooding along the Wriggle, and supporting the natural regeneration of grassland, scrub and trees, we are creating an evolving mosaic of habitats shaped increasingly by natural processes. This approach reduces nutrient losses from the land, enhances biodiversity and strengthens the resilience of a landscape long shaped by dairy farming. The project demonstrates how nature-led restoration can deliver meaningful environmental improvements while creating new space for wildlife and reconnecting people with the recovering landscapes of lowland Dorset.
WHAT WE DO
WE FARM WITH NATURE
We work permanent pasture rather than ploughing, protecting the soil biome and the carbon stored in heavy clay. Our hardy native cattle and pigs stay outdoors year-round at low stocking densities, grazing diverse swards, scrub, and hedgerow browse rather than living in sheds on bought-in feed. The result is organic, pasture-fed, high-welfare meat produced as a by-product of nature recovery on a small-field clay-vale farm, helping rather than depleting the soils, hedgerows, and watercourses around the Wriggle.
